The Singapore Literary Prize and Literary Translation Prize, initiated in 2015, is a biennial award honoring Singaporean literature. Marylyn Tan was honored this year as the first woman ever in 28-years to win English poetry category with Gaze Back which explores taboo subjects ranging from menstruation to sexuality – an unapologetic debut collection inspired by French feminist theorist Helene Cixous’ essay The Laugh of Medusa that depicts mythical Gorgons that can turn people to stone!
The winner of the SGPA Prize will receive an award of S$25,000 and a specially designed medallion, in addition to mentoring from an overseas literary centre and working alongside a writer-in-residence at one of these centers. A selection panel composed of writers and literary critics will review entries and announce winners; winning works will then be published online and in print, while its S$1 Million Fund provides support for new writing from Singaporean writers in all genres such as fiction, poetry and non-fiction writing.

Same Game Parlays
Same game parlays are an ideal bet type for players who don’t mind taking some losses on their bets but still want the chance of making big. They offer huge potential profits when betting three similar outcomes at once; thus making same game parlays an unsuitable choice for players who value consistency over potential payouts. But for those comfortable taking risks for bigger payouts, same game parlays might just be perfect! Be sure to play responsibly by placing only as many bets at one time – remember betting should always be fun!
